Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may provide us with your card information via phone, fax or by post. Or you may send us a cheque made payable to Artificial Orchids. Please allow extra time for your cheque to clear if you elect to pay by this method.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.

We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

We currently ship our products to the UK, however, should a european or worldwide shipment be needed please contact us and we will find the cost to your destination.

All shipping charges are calculated according to the weight and volume of the items ordered. Please note that although our products are generally light in weight, they do need suitable packaging to protect them during transit and this will be included in the calculation.

On checkout you will be able to view all of the applicable shipping costs for your order.

Delivery Schedule Once processed, most UK orders are dispatched by either Fist Class Post or Overnight Parcel carrier, Monday to Friday, for delivery the next working day. This is subject to the carriers’ service once we have entrusted your parcel to them. These items are dispatched either by Royal Mail Air Mail or by International Courier.

You must inform us within 5 (five) working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will endeavor to contact you by phone or email to explain the situation, we will then back order or the cancel the item as you require. If we are unable to contact you we will back order the item for you.

Tax Charges VAT at the specified rate will be applied to your order. All prices are displayed including VAT

For your total Credit Card Security we accept online payment via a payment gateway, no card data is visible to or retained by ourselves. Payment is not taken from your card until the order is ready to ship – therefore unauthorised transactions or orders with faulty details cannot be shipped.

Alternatively you may select to pay with your PayPal account.
